Spring time allergies (allergic rhinitis)
We are in the midst of the spring time allergy season and for those susceptible, symptoms arise that can range in from mild irritation to severe debilitation.Approximately 10-20% of the U.S. population, both adults and children experience symptoms. The more common symptoms include itchy eyes, nose, throat, and ears. Sneezing, irritability, nasal congestions
and hoarseness, along with post nasal drip, sinus pressure, diminished energy, and headaches. Decreased sense of smell, and increased snoring can also develop. If severe enough, the symptoms can cause asthma like symptoms.
